All I can say is, WOW! I’m so excited that our Free Membership is launched and moving. I want to take this opportunity to explain how our membership service is going to work.
FORUMS
We have membership forums for each level of membership, from Free to Indie Pro Plus. As membership levels are released if you choose to subscribe to a paid membership you can see all the members below you in the membership forums area.
For example: Free Members can see Hookey, our free forum. This is a place for crochet lovers to come discuss their favorite topics, post pics of their projects, ask questions and talk shop!
As membership unfolds, Supporters will be able to see their specific membership forum PLUS Hookey.
Indie Pro members will be able to see their specific forums PLUS Supporting Member Forums PLUS Hookey.
Indie Pro-Plus Members will be able to see all of the forums.

FAQs
Q: Will there be more than just forums and social networking?
A: Yes! In fact the forums and social networking were an after thought! The focus of CLF 3.0 is to offer quality and useful education to all levels of membership.
Q: When you say education, what do you mean?
A: Last fall we piloted webinars (on-line classes) that covered a variety of topics from selling crochet (and other handmade goods) at Craft Bazaars, Learning about which kinds of yarn work best for various crochet projects and other fiber related topics. Expect to see more of this! Also, the goal is to offer our Indie Pro Plus members a chance to share their knowledge and earn income teaching the subject areas they know best! Stay tuned for more info!
Q: I can’t afford the membership prices, but I still want to take classes. Can I do that somehow?
A: Yes! We have it set up so that if you just want to take one class you can pay as you go. However, membership may be more economical as certain series of video classes and webinars are free to members at that level. Also, if you are a Supporter and want to take an available Indie Pro or Pro Plus class you will have a discounted rate. The goal is to make this as available to as many people as possible.
Once again I’m so excited about this! It was worth a year of planning, learning, and expanding my skills to bring to you CLF 3.0!
