Accommodations
This is no ordinary State Park. There is no tent camping or RV hook ups at Cama Beach State Park. There are cabins with bunk & double beds. Each cabin is equipped with a microwave and fridge, and coffee pot. (hey it's Washington!)
Some cabins have bathrooms inside, the waterfront and back row cabins do not.
However, there is a lovely new bathhouse, with hot water on demand for showers!
These are wonderfully warm, cozy cabins with an out of this world scenic view of the Saratoga Passage in Puget Sound, and of the Olympic Mountains! Each cabin sleeps from 4-6 people, so find your cabin buddies, and make that reservation!
To reserve your cabin call:
360-387-1005
IMPORTANT Please tell them you are with Laurie Wheeler or the Crochet Retreat.
Once you make your reservation you will receive a confirmation letter. Please read it carefully, it contains a list of things you should bring!
One of those items is bedding!
All cabins have lovely new mattresses, but you must bring your own bedding.
*if you are coming in from out of state and that presents an issue for you, PLEASE contact me via email and we'll sort it out! Don't let sheets and blankies get in the way of a good time!
We have the cabins blocked out for the retreat until June 2010, after June the reservations get opened back up to the public! So please, make your reservations as soon as possible!
Other accommodations:
Camano Island State Park: Tent Camping, RV camping, and Five cabins that sleep 4 a piece.
(use the same phone number for cabin rentals. Camping is first come first serve.
October you don't have to worry about open spaces)
Bed & Breakfasts: See the Camano Island Chamber of Commerce Web Site.
Local Registration: If you are not going to spend the night at Cama, or do not need accommodations, please go directly to the Retreat Registration Page
Class schedules will be up soon and registration will begin in a few weeks!
