CROCHET LIBERATION FRONT

Crochet Friendly FAQ

Q)What do you mean by Crochet Friendly?
A) To us Crochet Friendly means that certain criteria are met:

1) Good Customer Service is #1.  That means folks are nice to us, that goes a looooonnnngg way!

2) Good selection of supplies for crochet. These should range from hooks, books, patterns, and threads etc. We realize that not every store will have EVERYTHING but a nice array helps.

3) Crochet Samples: Finished items/garments done in crochet in the store or swatches of yarn that are crocheted.

4) Crochet Classes (more advanced classes on offer too!)

Q) How is this criteria set?
A) We hold discussions on our group message board on Ravelry.com. With over 2200 members we take everyone's opinons and try to generalize them into solutions that are win/win for all.

Q) How do stores get on the list?
A) Crochet Liberation Front Members nominate their favorite stores. Those who disagree with the listing can voice their opinon and we link the posts to the crochet friendly list on Ravelry.com.

Q) Why do you have this list?
A)  We got tired of complaining about LYSes and other stores who treat crochet and crocheters like second class customers. We decided to list the folks that are quite will and able to take our money WITHOUT insulting us or expecting us to make do!

Q) I'm in your group on Ravelry.com, I've never seen the list! Where is it?
A) It's under Group Pages HERE!
