Photo Guidelines
Ok guys this is very very important. All photos must be submitted in this manner or the pattern submission WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED…if you have questions about these guidelines PLEASE contact me.

All submissions that have photos or artwork must be submitted in the following manner.

1)EVEN IF! You have inserted the photos of your project into the word document you must send a separate photo as a .jpg attachment labeled as follows. (this goes for all photos/artwork)
a.Pattern order placement. jpg (example: pillboxhat1.jpg , pillboxhat2.jpg)
2)All photos must be saved at 300 dpi and be no larger than 5x7 inches in size.
a.To get 300 dpi take photos on the best quality setting on your camera.
b.To make a 5x7 size go to your photo editing software and save the picture at that size. NO LARGER…and no smaller than 2x3 inches.
3)The same guidelines apply to scanned images, and drawn artwork (that is scanned)
4)If you cannot take a good photograph please contact Kristin Kesecker at
technogoddess@hotmail.com . She has offered to assist designers in the photographic process (either taking photos, or having them taken).
5)You may also have your photos taken by a local photographer (at your cost) to ensure quality. Please ensure that you buy the rights to the photograph so it may be printed. You also wish to provide them with these guidelines.
6)All photos should have a solid white, black, or red background for the “adult” book. For the one skein book any complimentary background color will do.

Again, if you have any questions do not hesitate to contact myself or Kristin Kesecker regarding photos/artwork.
