Book Review: Crochet Clothes Kids Love 3

crochet-legwarmers   Shelby Allaho & Ellen Gormley hit a home run in Crochet Clothes Kids Love.

I wish I had a book with such fun and funky styles when my kids were young, it would have saved me hours of having to make up designs for my fun and funky kids!
There are a few of the accessories that I’m going to adapt for my own personal use, too. Shelby is an accessory queen, and specializes in jewelry design and it shows in this book. My favorite designs (for my personal wearing) are: Charming Bracelet, page 125, and the Hairband Trio page 129.
If I had young ones to crochet for, and I suppose there will be some in my future at some point (hopefully not too soon though, I’m not ready to be a grandma), I adore the Lacey Sundress on page 25 – that’s super cute. crochet-capelet The Chelsea Caplet is sweet and elegant (page 45) and even though Winter is almost gone, the His and Her mittens are super cute for next year’s holiday offerings (page 79.).
I love the mix of projects in here, from short and sweet to some with a bit more skill required, this is an idea factory, a gift box and a great resource to make some crochet clothes that break the mold.

    Five hook rating!
