Everyone is busy. Everyone wants to know more time management tips. Okay, that’s understandable – but guess what I think there’s something you need to do first before slamming yourself for not being good at time management.
You need to do a skills inventory.
Just because you use Facebook to play games and keep up with friends, doesn’t mean you know how to leverage it for your craft or design business. The same goes for other social media sites. In fact, it might be the case for your blogging and email marketing efforts.
You may know how to USE the tools, but if you don’t know how to use them well, it’s like crafting a beautiful afghan and not weaving in the ends.
Guess what you’ll spend less time on social media, writing emails, your blog when you learn the secrets to using them correctly in a way that BENEFITS your business as much as your clients and fans.
What does that mean?
It means sales happen. Yes, it’s not just about the money, but if you’re not earning anything you don’t have a business. Repeat after me:
Money buys ice cream.
- Writing Copy That Converts
- Social Engagement
- Email Marketing
- Target Marketing
Do you know how to really use your blog or email newsletter? Do they convert to sales? If it feels like a waste of time then guess what? You probably need to gain more skills and it’s WORTH IT to take the time to learn.
If you’re working hard and not getting the results you want, it’s time to take a class.
When you know what you’re doing and doing it well, you manage your time so much better!
